A Daisy in the Field
Daisy is living her dream… literally
Her garden centre, Daisy’s Dream, is very popular and she has a scholarship to study Horticulture at university. She is supported by her loving and close family, as well as her childhood sweetheart, Kyle. So… what could possibly go wrong?
When Kyle is seconded to the Australian Army in their Communications division as part of his Honours Degree, he is required to spend six months overseas, supposedly away from active duty. However, he is injured by a roadside IED and begins to evaluate what is important, including his relationship with Daisy.
Daisy’s mother and grandmother are both widowed, having lost their husbands during previous wars. They believe Daisy needs to concentrate on her own future. And, it certainly helps that a dashing professor is very keen to help Daisy further her studies.
Is love stronger than war, so Daisy and Kyle can have their song, Perfect, played at their wedding? Or is this the fork in the road for the young lovers as they pursue their individual careers?

A Rose in the Garden
Just when Rose is accepting love into her life again, someone from her past arrives to turn her world upside down.
Rose, a young widow, is given a cruise by her family for her 50th birthday, and she is accompanied by her best friend, Linda. One night, they meet Leon Gardner, the father of the Captain. Rose and Linda ‘adopt’ Leon, often taking him with them on their excursions and dine with him each evening, enjoying his conversation and laughter.
Richard Gardner, the captain, is quite smitten with Rose, and when he saves her from falling into the pool, they begin to see each other often.
However, at the same time, she feels an attraction to another passenger, Abe Shah, who she believes holds a connection to her late husband. Or, is he actually her late husband?
Richard, a divorcee, has a daughter who is very protective of both her father and her autistic son. She becomes jealous of the relationship Rose has been able to form with both, especially as Rose is adept at working with children with special needs from years of working as an Education Assistant.
Will Rose forfeit a new love for something that may not even exist… or does the future hold for her a chance at true happiness?
A Lily in the Valley
Lily has a big surprise for Rose, Poppy and Daisy, and it will change their lives in unexpected ways…
Lily was widowed while pregnant with her daughter, Rose: her husband, Tom, was killed during the Vietnam War. She never engaged the thought of remarrying, filling her time building up her baking business from home, which supplied the local supermarket and cafes.
At her 70th birthday celebrations, Lily delivered a big surprise to Rose, and her two granddaughters, Poppy and Daisy.
At the party, Lily also met Malcom Vale, a dapper, widowed Englishman, who had moved into the retirement Village where her best friend, Ellen had purchased a unit. Lily enjoyed his flirtation at the many social gatherings and loved Malcolm’s wit and humour. However, his two very demanding daughters disliked Lily, believing she wasn’t of their social standing.
Would their friendship and budding romance be strong enough to withstand the interference of those who disagreed with their union? Or would both Lily and Malcolm find new love again when they least expected it to happen?
A Poppy in the Meadon
Poppy had been burned in her previous relationship with Daniel. So she was not looking for any new love in her life until she caught the bouquet at her mother’s wedding and decided to dip her toes back into the lukewarm dating pond. It all seemed too hard.
However, her path crosses with the new detective in town when they are united via the welfare of one of her students. The attraction to one another grows quickly.
Then Danial returns, three years after his abrupt departure. He expected Poppy to have missed him so much she’d be willing to throw herself in his arms once more.
Poppy now has a choice for the first time in years, with two men vying for her affection. Which one would she choose? And which one would be willing to be the father to the boy she was willing to adopt?
Life may change for Popy in an instant when she learns that not everything is as it seems…
